  • Description: Very Large Florida Highwaymen Isaac Knight FL Oil on Board Painting w/ Strong Provenance. This is likely the widest example from Knight. It comes with terrific provenance! The original owner purchased this painting from the artist who had kept it for nine years. When the piece’s last owner heard the artist was making an appearance locally, he went to the artist and asked him to touch up the frame and a small corner of the canvas. The artist did so and annotated it.
  • Signature: Signed and dated “I. H. Knight (19)78” lower right. Signed and inscribed “Thanks Eddy for letting me repair [x] painting, hello Mrs Gibson, I H Knight” upper left verso.
  • Condition: Fine estate discovery condition. Evidence of minor mellowed varnish, minor surface debris, minor surface wear, board support shows some edge fraying. Minor frame wear. See photos for details.
  • Board size 47-7/8 x 23-3/4 inches
  • Frame size: 51-1/2 x 27-9/16 inches
