- Description: The architectural form of the goblet, including its short octagonal stem and bold scallop-edged radial foot, closely recalls a much smaller yet still monumental engraved goblet attributed by Sotheby's to Karl (Carl) Anton Günther. The present example is distinguished by its royal portrait, heraldic engraving and engraved signature. the heavy flower pedal footed vase is unsigned but we know that Gunther allegedly baccarat and possibly at Val saint Lambert many other possibilities where it could've been made it could possibly be Dutch or Bohemian, housed in a fitted leather bound felt line case with gilded decorations the craftsman ship on the intaglio bust is extraordinary; we see no scratches or breaks.

- Condition: We cannot find any chips, cracks or breaks. Under a bright light and magnification we notice 3 or 4 tiny bubbles. As well as upon further examination on the inside we found an internal manufacturing hairline or annealing imperfection. Again this is on the inside. The box shows signs of age, does not close, missing a latch and the base is not stable.

We request that your shipper schedules pick up times at least 24 hours in advance; this will ensure no delays in pick up, and release of your purchases. Please be aware that the item will be packed in a box that is proportionally larger than the object itself and will be in many cases be considered dimensional DIM weight. Shipping carriers charge based on maximum allowable weight for the size of the package. Your boxed purchase will likely weigh less than the stated weight on which the bill is based.
STORAGE: Storage fees of $10 per day if not picked up within 30 days after receiving your invoice. Items paid will be considered abandoned after 80 DAYS and all funds received WILL NOT be refunded and considered payment for storage. All unpaid auction wins will be considered abandoned after 30 days if no communication is made within receipt of the invoice.
