- Description: Important Van Cleef Arpels 18k Gold Platinum Lion Bracelet Fine Exquisite and Natural Ruby Eye Fine Diamond Fangs, signature and quality is consistent with Van Cleef and Arpels, There are four 5x 2-2.5mm baguette diamonds that are D-F and VS clarity. The diamonds are approximately 0.8 ctw. The eyes are two 3mm rubies. This bracelet weighs just under 100g. The provenance for this piece is that it was a push gift to the consignor from a prolific Boston family in 1969. There is an inscription on the inside stating Van Cleef and Arpels 18k Plat. There are also two personal inscriptions stating JDM 7-26-44 and CJM 7-28-69. For similar listings, see Invaluable listing Lot 41. There also was a very similar two-headed tortoiseshell bracelet that sold on Invaluable for 40,000 Swiss francs. In the Sotheby's December 2009 and December 2010 catalog, there were similar bracelets going for 15,000 to 20,000.

Overall this piece is in phenomenal shape minus the general wear from taking this piece on and off a few times. Given a very light polish, this piece would look brand new. Clasp and hinge are full functional.
